The retail center is U-shaped with open, cross-access parking. Three out-parcels have been developed, two with freestanding buildings, and one with a pad site for a coffee kiosk or ATM.

Northwest Centre is located in the northwest portion of the city. The northwest quadrant has been one of the fastest growing areas of the city in recent years. Over 42% of the homes sold in Wichita in recent years were in the northwest quadrant and 55% of the new home starts were in the same area as Northwest Centre.
