StretchLab Signs Franchise Agreement with Seasoned Entrepreneur; Highly Trained Flexologists™ to Alter Local Wellness Scene
WASHINGTON DC (Feb. 22, 2022) –
StretchLab, a leading national assisted stretching franchise, announced a new franchise agreement today that will bring 16 new studios to the Washington DC market.
“We are excited to announce the development of our brand in the Washington DC and Maryland area with Phil Howard, one of our most talented franchisees,” said Verdine Baker, President of StretchLab. “With the brand making its debut in the nation’s capital, we can’t wait to take the local wellness scene by storm and educate consumers on the incredible benefits of assisted stretching.”
In addition to the DC agreement, StretchLab recently signed deals to bring new studios to Fargo, Charleston, Miami, Vancouver and Grand Rapids, among other markets. The company currently has 156 franchise locations open and more than 587 licensed locations.
While the benefits of stretching are typically underestimated, deep stretching is scientifically proven to be one of the most effective ways to decrease pain, lower risk of injury and provide people the ability to perform better at work, in the gym and in everyday life. At StretchLab, clients work one‑on‑one with highly trained Flexologists™ in an open, modern, and friendly environment to increase mobility and flexibility, and achieve a deeper, more advanced stretch than they can get on their own. Studios utilize TRX MAPS technology, which tracks mobility, muscle activation, posture, and body symmetry, to create individually tailored and more holistic stretching programs for clients to achieve their wellness goals.
